My story
As a young man at the age of sixteen, I started cutting meat in a small custom farm slaughter plant in Wyoming. I learnt the trade of Butchering and custom cutting.
In my early twenties, I ran a small custom butchering plant in Cody WY (The Zero Box). It is there that I found the love of making smoked sausage.
I now work as a sausage maker in Portland OR. And have found a new love of making BBQ Sauce. From that (Dal-licious BBQ ) was born.
Can I help you make a quality restaurant meal at home?
In my 47 + years of working in the meat industry. I can honestly say I have cooked almost every cut of meat there is. If I look through my phone pictures 98% of them are going to be of food. I love GRILLING, SMOKING, CASTIRON COOKING, BBQ’S, and all-around neighborhood get-togethers as much, if not more than any BBQ enthusiast.

I have been inĀ BBQ cook-off competitions. And entered the Barbecue News Magazine contest in Georgia in 2020. For a competition BBQ sauce which Dal-licious came in 25th out of 100 entries in the beef category.
